Har lärt mig en jäkla massa Cockney-slang idag =)
Vår lärare tyckte att vi skulle lära oss slang, eller rättare sagt, rhyming slang idag. Vi fick lära oss från Cockney-dialekten, vilken kommer ifrån den östra delen av London sk Gangsterkvarteren.
T ex; "I'm going for a ball of chalk down to the battle cruiser for a lar-dee-dar" Det betyder; "I'm going for a walk down to the boozer for a cigar".
"I have some money in my sky rocket that I half-inched from my skin and blister". "I have some money in my pocket that I pinched from my sister".
"Get a butcher's hook at that girl's Khyber pass and Bristol city". "Get a look at that girl's ass and tits".
Och den bästa; "I went to a rubba-dub-dub with my china plate last night and got elephant's trunk". "I went to a pub with my mate last night and got drunk".
Myycket lärorik dag eller vad säger ni? ;)
